About the Programme:
Our "Arts on Prescription" programme is a friendly and inclusive 12-week course for adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or stress. Participants, guided by a professional artist and a qualified counsellor, will explore various art materials in weekly workshops — no previous arts experience is required!
We ask people to commit to the full 12 weeks, this is not a drop in course.
Details of the New "Arts on Prescription" Course:
Location: Central Cambridge
Eligibility: For participants living in one of the Cambridge City Wards
How to Join: By referral only - ask your healthcare provider if you are interested in joining.
Dates: From 8 October to 14 January
Duration: 12 weeks
Special Highlight: Our cultural partner for this course is Murray Edwards College, where we will have the opportunity to visit the Women's Art Collection.

The Arts on Prescription Programme is for people with Mind to Moderate Mental Health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or stress. If there are concerns around aggression, higher risk mental health concerns, problems around addiction or housing, please let us know as the program may not be suitable.
I have indicated the accessibility of the course but please let us know if there are additional needs as we may be able to support depending on the circumstances and needs.
There are 12 spaces on the course and we may create a waitlist for our next course.
