Come and join us on a walk through some of the areas we have been working on at Arlington Court. This walk, supported by our knowledgeable volunteers is a chance to learn more about the nature restoration we are doing, and why we are doing it.
We will be stopping to talk about the trees planting scheme and what we are doing to ensure we provide the best opprtunties we can for those trees to thrive and support future generations. We will also look at the re-wetting work and how keeping water upstream benefits wildlife, biodiversity and ourselves. This walk is also about taking the chance just to chat and enjoy being outdoors as we move into Autumn.
1.5 - 3 mile walk depending on who comes, and how long we stop to chat.
Appropriate footwear and clothing is a must. Arlington is generally colder and wetter than our surrounding towns and we will be walking though mud, wet and uneven terrain, and due to the nature of this landscape, it will always involve some hills.
Free entry for the walk and wider estate grounds, just say that you are here for the walk when you go into the Visitor Reception.
Bookable on the Arlington Court website, or just turn up on the day. - 11am start outside the Activity room.
