Come and join us on a walk through Arlington Court's deer park woods. This walk, supported by our knowledgeable volunteers is a chance to explore Arlington's grounds in a safe and friendly environment.
We will be stopping to talk about the different trees, identifying them through their bark, leaf and seeds and sharing knowledge, and taking the chance just to chat and enjoy being outdoors as we move into Autumn.
Hopefully the weather will be kind and will show off the trees in their best light as they head towards their Autumn glory.
1.5 - 3 mile walk depending on who comes, and how long we stop to chat.
Appropriate footwear and clothing is a must. Arlington is generally colder and wetter than our surrounding towns and we will be walking though mud, wet and uneven terrain, and due to the nature of this landscape, it will always involve some hills.
Free entry for the walk and wider estate grounds, just say that you are here for the walk when you go into the Visitor Reception.
Bookable on the Arlington Court website, or just turn up on the day. - 11am start outside the Activity room.
