Hammersley Homes Outreach Programme

Working with a team of trained staff and volunteers, we visit people who experience enduring mental health challenges and illnesses (currently only in Hampshire), relieving loneliness and doing what we can to help our Members reach their own personal goals and live their best life.

Through offering friendship and help with tasks which our Members may be struggling to manage – such as cooking, online access, budgeting, incoming mail, benefits, social and community interaction, and hobbies – lives can be enriched.

After an initial 3-month free trial period, a Member Charge of £30 per calendar month is introduced, to contribute towards the running costs of the service. Hammersley Homes is a charity, reliant upon fundraising initiatives to support our service’s sustainably. We are keen to expand our service to support more of the people we work with, and to continue to raise awareness of the challenges faced by our Member group.
