Cambridge Women’s Resource Centre

The Women’s Centre in Peterborough is a warm and cosy, safe space, with a garden, meeting rooms, coffee room, kitchen, group rooms, and one-to-one spaces for women only. It is easily accessible by bus, train, foot or bicycle from town centre.

Everything at CWRC is free for women who need it.

Job search
Learn how to use computers
Assistance in applying for benefits like Universal Credit
Courses such as creative writing
Walking group
Book club
Counselling sessions
There is free tea and coffee any time, plus cereal and toast in the mornings, and in winter a hot bowl of stew is on offer for those who want it.

There are food bank vouchers and care packets, clothing, shoes, and even some household items, depending on what donations have been received.

There are computers that are free to use.
