Exeter Foodbank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why the Exeter Foodbank provides three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.

Locations at Mint Methodist Church and Beacon Centre

Service access criteria: A ‘crisis’ is defined as having ‘little or no money to buy food’ and this is the criteria that should be applied • Each voucher should be used within 3 days of issue. However, we will always honour vouchers up to 7 days • Please only issue ONE voucher to clients at a time. Do not give them several voucher numbers to cover a time period. The client and the referrer must speak to arrange each voucher • If the eReferral System informs you that the client has had more than three vouchers that is okay. However, we may contact you if we note that the client is taking excessive vouchers and it is at risk of becoming dependent on the support of foodbank. We do not have the resources to be seen as an alternative to budgeting.
