Repair Café Wisbech

Repair Café Wisbech is volunteer run, by a group of people interested in repairing, fixing and not throwing away.  The group meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Wisbech Community Hub, to help people repair and mend a variety of items.

This is a new and growing group in Wisbech. Help grow the café by coming along and sharing your knowledge and skills or just pop in to learn something new or chat to like minded people.

The Repair Café Wisbech will be an opportunity to come along and learn and fix a range of household items.

You can bring items that need to be fixed or repaired.  You can also come along if you don't have anything to fix. The Café is a chance to socialise and chat with like minded people.

Items that may be able to be fixed :

Remote controls
Small portable electric items such as kettles, vacuum cleaners, radios.
Items for upcycling
Clothes; turning up, fixing buttons and zips.  The Repair Café is open to any local adults.  The sessions will run on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 1pm - 3pm.

You can drop into the session, no need to book. However you can email to let them know you are attending or call and leave a message with the hub.

When you arrive at the hub you will receive a friendly welcome.  The volunteers will introduce themselves and talk to you about any things you would like repairing or are interested in learning to repair.

The Repair Café is currently in the Community Hub but plans to move into the Studio Space as the group expands.

The Repair Cafe is free to attend. However donations are welcomed to help keep the group running.
