Werrington Library

Books and reading are one of life’s pleasures. Whether it is a physical book, an e-publication or audio book, reading can keep us informed and entertained. The Werrington Library is handily located off the edge of the Werrington Centre car park, with bus stops nearby.

What to expect?

In the library there is a main desk where you will usually find a friendly and informative library assistant. They can help you find all sorts of information, from particular books or audio books to community services.

There are many books in languages other than English which are held at the Central Library; members can reserve them to be collected at this branch or any other local branch. Instructions on the book check-out machine are available in a large range of languages which can be selected.

Access to the library is wheelchair-friendly.

There are public toilets, including a disabled toilet and baby change room.

There is free parking in the Werrington Centre. Access to the library is at the end of the carpark opposite the Tesco Superstore, next to the Ken Stimpson Community School, and is signposted (see photos and videos below). There are a few disabled car spaces immediately outside of the library; access is down Hall Lane and Fox Covet. Ring the library for more details.
