Counselling Plus is a small charity, founded in 1992, which mainly offers counselling to people on benefits or low income who would otherwise struggle to access counselling. We counsel on a wide range of issues including: depression; anxiety; relationship issues; suicidal ideation; identity issues; anger; isolation; abuse; self-harm; loss; bullying; attachment disorders; couple counselling; low self-esteem; trauma.
Our service is delivered by voluntary counsellors. We ask clients to make an affordable contribution towards their counselling in order to cover our operating costs and overheads.
We operate from our offices in the centre of Hastings and also offer a small outreach service in Rye.
We are a registered charity and also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their guidelines.
