Coaching is a collaborative process where you work one to one with a coach who will help you explore your goals in life, reflect on changes you want to make, help you think about how you can make different choices and build new behaviours.
We use a transformative approach where the outcome is the change in perspectives.
Transformative coaching does not require you to come to session one with a specific goal in mind (although we hope you start to develop ideas about your goals) but is more focused on purpose and meaning, building up the hope for change and empowering you to feel in control of your choices and direction in life.
Coaching sessions are 50 minutes long and typically for 6-8 sessions, delivered from a location in central Scarborough or remotely (Zoom/Teams).
The initial session is an assessment to ensure suitability. You will be required to sign a Coaching Agreement and Confidentiality Statement, complete an outcome measure at the beginning and end, along with an Exit Survey upon completion of the final session.
To access coaching, you need to be aged 16 and over, able to meet in Scarborough or digitally and ready to explore thinking differently!
