The Muslim Cultural & Welfare Association of Sutton (MCWAS) was established in 1981 by the late Mr Lal Hussain MBE, former Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton, to serve the needs of the local Muslim community.
As well as hosting prayer and worship, and education, the Association offers various community and welfare services, providing members an Islamic environment to engage and socialise with others to develop their interpersonal skills as well as develop a strong togetherness within the community. These include a Youth Club, Sisters Coffee Morning, Fitness Class and Seniors Luncheon Club. The website has a full and up to date list.
