Weekly mental health support group based at The Meeting Place (Egremont Methodist Church) every Thursday 10:30am - 1pm.
A safe and comfortable space for people to access mental health support within their own community.
These sessions are open to anyone aged 18 and over who requires mental health support.
Family, friends and professionals can support people to attend these sessions.
We have discussions around specific mental health conditions, and we have coping strategies available to help. We also have general group discussions, as well as have games and crafts available.
There is no pressure on you to talk and share your experiences within the group, you can simply listen and gain some useful advice.
Each session is for 2.5 hours but you don’t have to stay the full session if you don’t want to.
No referral or booking is required to attend, just simply turn up.
All service updates are posted on our Facebook page – Cumbria Community Havens.
The support provided by Cumbria Safe Haven is free to access for anyone aged 18 and over living in Cumbria and who are struggling to manage their mental health and wellbeing.
