Re-Mind - Accredited courses for adults with Autism

Re-Mind offers FREE accredited courses in Catering and Customer Service and Gardening Services.
Catering and Customer Service is a 6-week course held on a Monday and Tuesday 9.30am-2.30pm.
The course involves learning about food hygiene, health and safety in a working kitchen, food preparation and presentation, front of house skills as well as budgeting and money handling.
We cook a range of dishes to include seasonal soups, toasties, sausage rolls, an afternoon tea and much more.
Gardening services is on a Wednesday 10am - 2pm for 15 weeks.
The course covers plant care from seed to harvest, how to care for and maintain a garden, tool handling and maintenance, crop harvesting, seasonal planting, hanging basket designing and much more.
On completion, learners receive an entry Level 2 AIM Qualification.
Learners can not do both courses at the same time.

Service access criteria:

Individuals need to be over 18 and have a primary lead of a learning disability and/or Autism, however, we do NOT need a formal diagnosis.
Learners can access us from anywhere, location is not a barrier.
