Compass Café

Held once a week at Swavesey’s Bethel Baptist Church, the Compass Café is a lively community-run café serving friendship, coffee and homemade cake. Anyone of any age is welcome to come along – it’s not just for residents of the village. A warm welcome alongside fresh, homemade cakes and coffee are on offer at the Compass Café – so named because it ‘encompasses the community’. Make sure you bring cash as cards are not accepted. Run by volunteers from four different community groups that take turns each week, the Compass Café takes place every Thursday from 10.30am to 12 noon. Held in the Bethel Baptist Church in Swavesey, there is plenty of space, as well as accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities.
