Satyam Yoga and Wellbeing Centre

Satyam offers yoga, meditation, Pilates and fitness classes in a range of styles. There are classes and workshops for all levels of experience including complete beginners. It’s a welcoming, accessible and inclusive space, supporting everyone to experience the benefits of yoga. The Centre is located on Hawthorn Way, next to Stir Café. There are parking spaces outside the front and street parking available further along Hawthorn Way. The closest bus stop is the number 2 bus stop on Chesterton Road. There is bike parking outside the Centre.

When you enter Satyam Yoga & Wellbeing Centre you’ll receive a warm welcome from the friendly person at the reception desk, who will direct you to your class. Yoga mats and all other props that you may need are provided, so you just need to bring yourself! Make sure to wear something comfortable that you can easily move around in. There is a room with comfy chairs where you can buy a hot drink and sit and relax before or after class.

There are a wide range of courses, workshops and day retreats available at Satyam. The weekly classes range from gentle and relaxing sessions to those that are more dynamic and energetic. Explore the weekly classes on the Satyam website. There are also courses and day retreats on different topics, including Meditation, Yoga & Mindfulness for Children & Teens, Parent & Baby Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga. Find details of upcoming courses on the Satyam website.

To sign up for classes, you first need to create an account on the website using your email address and phone number. Once you have done this you can choose the class or course you would like to attend from the timetable and book yourself in. Classes and courses are subject to a fee. You can pay per session or pay for a block of classes. If you are a new client you can attend your first five sessions for a reduced rate. There are also reduced rates for concessions, and a solidarity rate (up to 80% subsidisation) for those who could not otherwise attend due to financial reasons.

Within the Centre there is also a Wellbeing Room offering massages and other treatments, and a Floatation Pool – where you float in a warm pool filled with a high density solution of Epsom salts and water. Visit the floatation page on the website for more information.
