Way2Work

Way2Work is a £16.1m European Union funded initiative for ages 16 to 50+
Way2Work will provide unemployed or inactive residents across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire access to training which is specific to their individual needs and which will increase their current employment prospects by offering a broad range of support.

This will include:

work experience and paid employment opportunities
advice about self-employment
basic skills
digital skills
functional English to support eligible non-English speakers
Way2Work is especially for people who are facing personal and economic barriers to finding a job such as:

single adult families
people from BAME communities
over 50s
people with disabilities or health conditions which have a long-term and significant impact on their daily lives
Way2Work also offers life-skills support including financial advice and financial support for travel and childcare, route and travel planning plus financial support for work-travel to help individuals sustain their job or training placement once it starts.

Employment Support
Our team has a wealth of knowledge of the local labour market and skills to help you secure  full-time employment.

 This will include:

finding the right vacancy
support in building a C.V.
help submitting applications
preparation and practising for interviews
