50+ LGBT Coffee Morning

Join us for a cuppa every Thursday at the Furzedown Project.
The 50+ LGBT Coffee Morning is a weekly service ran by Wandsworth LGBTQ+ Forum in co-production with the Furzedown Project.

At present, it is the only weekly service aimed at the older LGBT community in South London. The morning takes place every Thursday morning from 10-12 and welcomes anyone over the age of 50 (who defines as LGBTQ+) from all across London.

As well as a strong local membership we have people that come from as far as Barnet, Croydon and Highbury just to attend the morning.

Why? Not only is the set-up very informal and relaxed but it is a warm and friendly group of people who have used the morning to meet new people and get involved in other activities.

We have also had an array guest speakers since we formed last April. They have included: Bi-Sexual Index, Free 2B, Jan Pimblett (London Metropolitan Archive) Jane Traise, James Wharton, Jess Walker, Justine Greening MP, Peter Scott-Presland, Roise Wilby, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan MP, Roehampton LGBTQ Society, Tom Robinson, Tonic Housing and Wandsworth Oasis, to name a few.
