The Furzedown Project

The Furzedown Project is an activity centre and social hub for people aged 50 and over from Furzedown, in the London Borough of Wandsworth..

Our mission is to increase people's sense of wellbeing and reduce social isolation.

We provide a lively programme of over twenty social, educational, recreational, and health-promoting activities at our centre between 9.30am and 4.30pm five days a week. Many of these activity sessions are supported by our assisted transport service to enable some of our members with reduced mobility to attend.

We also offer a Befriending service that gives chat and socialising through our outreach programme to people who find it very difficult to get out of their own homes.
