Adult social services provides information and help to adults who have difficulty with everyday things.

The Service supports adults who have difficulty with everyday things so that they can have as much control and independence as possible. This may include helping you to keep safe, stay well, do housework, continue in your job or leisure interests, and see people you care about. 

The Service offers help including: 

providing information about services from other organisations
carrying out assessments of needs, and
Working with you and your family to arrange suitable services.

Some people need help for a short time, others have disabilities or long term conditions and may need help for longer. The Service also offers support to people who look after somebody in Wandsworth.
