Wandsworth Food Bank

ABOUT OUR FOOD BANK
We support people and families across Wandsworth Borough who are referred to us in severe hardship
We’re a local food bank that’s part of the Trussell Trust national network of food banks.  We provide emergency food, support and advice to people and families across Wandsworth who are experiencing severe hardship.

Wandsworth Foodbank was started by St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise in 2013, in response to the growing need we saw in our community.  We partner with local churches and the community to help people referred to us by nearly 300 local agencies and teams.

In 2021/22 we provided almost 10,000 emergency food supplies to local people. One in three emergency food parcels were for children. Many people visit one of our seven food bank welcome centres across the borough, although we also provide home delivery to people referred to us but who can’t get to our centres because of disability or ill-health.

None of this would be possible without the continued, incredible generosity of people in our local community who give food, money and time to help those in need around us. We’re so grateful to everyone who share what they have through the Foodbank. Thank you.
