Support for people with sight and hearing loss

Deafblind UK is a national charity supporting people who have sight and hearing loss. We can support you to be as independent as you want to be and keep doing the things you love.

Our free support includes practical help, mental health support and social opportunities. We also provide support for carers.

Our free, remote services include:

  • Counselling
  • Six-week emotional support service
  • One-to-one technology support with setting up new devices, personalising accessibility features and solving problems
  • Befriending and social groups
  • Practical support, such as help with contacting your local council about benefits or accessing healthcare
  • Employment advice
  • Deafblindness helpline.

We also offer paid services, including discounted accessible holidays and supported living.

Service access criteria: Our services are for you: If you have sight and hearing loss, If you care for or support someone with sight and hearing loss, If you’re the parent or guardian of a young person who has sight and hearing loss. If you’re a professional working with people who have sight and hearing loss.
