Honiton Women's Drop In and Recovery Library

These relaxed and friendly weekly drop-in sessions welcome anyone over the age of 18. You do not need to book, just turn up, sit quietly or chat with folks over a cup of tea and a biscuit; there is no pressure for you to do anything. There will be resources, creative activities and information that can help you keep well and have hope.

You are not alone.

The Honiton Library specialises in women’s mental health (menopause, PMS, breastfeeding, childcare/parenting, eating disorders and more). Babes in arms are welcome, but they can’t accommodate mobile babies due to safety concerns.

Being located in an art gallery serves as inspiration for their weekly craft projects. Past projects have included: papier maché, mandala dotting, alcohol inks, paint pouring, rock painting, scrap fabric bunting, pompoms. They also have mindful colouring, jigsaws, puzzles, and jewellery making supplies as a regular resource if students aren’t keen on the day’s craft activity.

They usually have space inside, but are also able to access the courtyard and garden in nice weather.
