Support helpline

Samaritans is a nationwide charity available round the clock, every single day of the year. Whatever you’re going through, you can call them on 116 123 free of charge. Samaritans volunteers will listen to you in confidence and without judgment. Stoke Samaritans is part of a national network of 201 Samaritans branches. It has over 180 volunteers that as well as providing the 24 hour listening service, work in schools and colleges, help homeless people via organisations such as Wintercomfort and support the residents of Littlehey Prison. Stoke Samaritans is an independent, local charity completely run and staffed by volunteers. Visit their website for more information and to find out when they can welcome face-to-face callers. You can also find out about becoming a volunteer for Cambridge Stoke.
