The Hub Fenton

Social Group with crafts, cooking and quiet activities

At The Hub we offer sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  It is a no pressure environment. Each individual can choose an activity that suits them or, if they prefer, they can sit quietly with a cuppa and relax.

Tuesdays focus on craft activities, table games and access to computers.

On Wednesdays there is an opportunity to take part in cooking - sometimeswe make cakes at other times it might be soup, bread or pizza.  It's a social activity with time to chat to others and have a cuppa while everything is cooking.  Other activities are also available for those who do not wish to cook.

The Thursday session is a mixture of everything.  Some people like to make their own meal, or bake some cakes whereas others prefer to sit and colour or play table games.

Some people bring their own sewing or knitting, but come along to enjoy the company.

The session cost includes all equipment and two hot drinks during the morning.

At 12.15 we serve lunch.  It is available for anyone who wishes to stay.  The cost is £4.  All food is cooked on the premises daily. It varies from a roast dinner, fish and chips, sausage and mash, curry etc with fruit pie or sponge pudding and custard to follow.  Sanwiches or soup are also available.

Everyone is welcome.  There is on street parking.  A ramp leads to the door.  There is one small step into the hall - a ramp is available for wheelchairs.  One bathroom is wheelchair accessible and has standard grab rails.  The second bathroom also has grab rails.
