Council for Teenagers – Wild at Heart

An evening in the woods re-connecting with our natural environment and each other through play, story telling and deep listening.

During this evening we will gather outside in the woods at The Glade, Dartington, with a small group of mentors and young people from the age of about 13 – 20 years. We will spend time around the campfire in a safe space to listen and share our stories through the ancient practice of ‘Council’.

Council circle practice is an age old tradition that is a sharing method of lived experiences, focused on empathy and active listening. It enables individuals to give voice to their stories, develop mutual respect, cultivate a compassionate response to anger, defensiveness, and inequalities, as well as strengthen emotional health and resilience.

Please bring enough clothes to stay warm and dry in the woods as well as water, and snacks.

For any questions please contact Heidi Rose at info@circlewise.co / 07891062769

Bookings Essential. Limited spaces, donations welcome.
