Substance Misuse

What We Do

Cranstoun has been making a difference since 1969

Our mission is to empower and support people to make positive changes.

If you’re a resident of Wokingham and need support around your drug or alcohol use, our community service can help. We work with adults and young people who want to address their substance use. Whether you want complete abstinence or just to be able to reduce and control your use - we can help to make sure you do this safely. We provide advice and information, structured one to one support and access to medical interventions where required.

The support we provide is person-centred, meaning we focus on what you see as important in helping you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

Following an assessment with a suitably qualified member of staff, we’ll work with you to develop a plan of support. If you need structured treatment, you’ll work alongside a worker for the duration of your treatment journey.

We also provide access to peer support so that you can hear from others who have been through similar situations. The main thing is to remember you are not alone and we are here to help whenever you are ready.
