Social Isolation & Loneliness Support

Support with Social Isolation & Loneliness
We provide support to enable people who are lonely or isolated to access activities and groups within the community.

We take a person-centred, holistic approach and our support worker will work with individuals on a one-to-one basis to provide tailored support to enable them to overcome barriers and achieve their desired goals. This could be through involvement in social activity and other activities to enhance the quality of life and promote inclusion.

Individuals referred to the service will be able to build confidence/self-esteem and will receive bespoke 1:2:1 support from the Isolation and Loneliness worker who will allow them to be assisted with integrating into community groups and activities based on individual interests.

We work with individuals through various forms of support to help them to:

Build confidence/self-esteem using social activity/socially inclusive groups.
identify relevant goals and overcome barriers to achieving these.
Connecting individuals with society.

The Social Isolation and Loneliness support worker also facilitates Yoga classes for the community. Please contact for more information and criteria.
