This dynamic ensemble of seven talented musicians, including original members and local players Roz Harding, Julie Hill, and Emma Welton, will enthral you with their unique blend of trumpet, two saxophones, two violins, cello, and piano.

Immerse yourself in the rhythmic power of Simon Belshaw's compositions, which are infused with influences from various musical genres including Baroque, rock, pop, minimalism, and jazz.

Belshaw formed the band while studying at Bath and honed his craft with Gavin Bryars at the University of Hertfordshire. Don't miss this chance to witness a performance that has been described as having a 'complex simplicity' with 'patience and harmonies' and a non-traditional, theatrical approach to music-making.

For further information and to book tickets online, please visit Eventbrite (includes an additional booking fee). If you do not wish to pay an additional online booking fee, just pop into Exeter Library and purchase the tickets at our main desk.
