Companion Service - Harmony House

The Community Companion Service is for people over the age of 60 who are lonely, socially isolated and have difficulty getting out and about on their own. The service aims to alleviate the effects of loneliness and social isolation and support people to continue to live independently in their own homes. The service aims to improve the quality of beneficiaries’ lives by providing regular home visits from a Companion, and where possible to support them into a community activity.

 

Service access criteria: For people aged over 60 and living in Barking and Dagenham
