Routes To Grow

Routes To Grow aims to tackle social isolation and loneliness so every Tuesday and Friday, from 10am to 3pm, we open the garden to anyone who wants to pop in and help me (the head gardener here at Routeways) do a bit of gardening. You are also welcome to simply have a wander around the garden, enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits, or just have a little chat!

It is well known and scientifically proven that interacting or observing nature has positive benefits to both physical and mental health and here at Devonport Park Activity Centre we have a beautiful garden. We also have a large greenhouse for potting and growing, a long polytunnel for woodwork, lots of raised beds for growing, a forest school pit with a fire and pizza oven, an apple orchard, and a lot more all contained within a hedge wall to make it a great, safe, outdoor space to anyone who loves to get their hands dirty and their thumbs green!

We welcome anyone and everyone!

Have a look at our website and give us a call or email
