Ottery & District Community Car Service

Our community car scheme allows our volunteer drivers to take clients to:

and from hospital and doctor’s appointments
visit friends and relatives in hospital or residential homes
any other appointments related to health and well-being
 
Bookings: 
We ask that clients give us at least 48 hours’ notice when booking an appointment so that we can give our volunteer drivers as much notice as possible. We operate this service Monday to Friday.

If you no longer need the appointment, please cancel giving us as much notice as possible. Please let our office staff know at the time of booking if you have any mobility issues.

Suggested donation:
All of our journey bookings have a suggested donation attached to enable us to cover the cost of volunteer expenses.

Drivers:
All of our volunteer drivers have an Enhanced DBS check.
