About the workshop
KEY WORKSHOP BENEFITS Do you want to improve your mental health? Do you want to increase your steps and become fitter? Do you want to meet new people in your area? Do you want to have some fun? Can you make a little time for you? WHO IS THIS FOR? Anyone who wants to improve their confidence, mental health & fitness. Making friends and developing healthy habits are free extras (as well as feeling awesome)! WHAT IF I CAN'T RUN? Good - that's what we want! This is NOT a race. It all starts with small steps (60 second run, 90 second walk to begin with). Nobody is ever left behind! LENGTH OF WORKSHOP Our workshop is split in to 10 sessions to help you increase your fitness and ability to run. We do recommend that you attend all sessions if possible. This is a beginners running group. Learn to run, and aim to complete 5k in 10 weeks – starting with 60 seconds run, 90 seconds walk. This is achievable with 3 runs per week.
