Providing support for older people in our community

Our objective is to enable the older people in our community to have access to a facility which provides for their social needs and wellbeing. This is achieved by providing a minibus service to collect and return members to and from the Centre and providing companionship, social activities, hot meals and various care facilities.

Our bathing facilities are state of the art, having been completely re-vamped in the last couple of years. The bathing room is a wet room and boasts an electrically adjusted shower bed and large shower rose delivering a choice of spray. Overhead electrically operated hoists enable ease of movement for those less mobile or wheelchair-bound to access the facilities. There is also an all singing/dancing electrically operated toilet which washes and dries.
