About Our Day Centres
Always Active support groups provide a range of activities, a chance to socialise and meet friends and a meal for older people, who may be living with dementia or other age related conditions. They organise different activities to suit and entertain the people who go there. These can include quizzes, games, bingo sessions, craft activities, entertainment, exercise classes, day trips and much more. Light snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon and a light, 3 course meal at lunchtime.
Always Active is staffed by qualified health and care professionals and volunteers who are offered training in safeguarding, first aid, health and safety, dementia awareness and much more.
Visitors to the centres attend 10.30 am to 3.30 pm and do not need to be accompanied by a carer.
