Welcome to Thinking Differently!
We offer free, fun, and welcoming sessions in East Staffordshire for local parents and children. Our sessions are designed to help families learn new skills, discover effective strategies, and support each other in a friendly environment. You’ll also have the chance to meet other parents and children, building valuable social connections.
What to expect:
- Each session has a unique theme, such as bedtime routines, dental hygiene, self-esteem, behaviour, and boundaries.
- Activities are led by a Sessional Lead and Support Worker, and include hands-on activities, music and movement, book reading, and more.
- All sessions are completely free thanks to funding from the Lottery Community Fund.
Types of sessions we offer:
- Harvey Girls: For mums with children under 5. Focuses on strengthening the parent-child relationship, building social networks, and learning strategies for family routines and behaviours in the early years.
- Dads4Dads: For dads and their children of any age. Focuses on positive parenting strategies and managing family routines and behaviours.
- Martial Arts Sessions: Whole family sessions in partnership with Beyond Black Belt, designed to enhance family relationships, communication, and confidence while getting active together.
How to join:
- Referrals are welcome from both parents and professionals.
