South West Autism Support Services is a small, Exeter-based organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people who are 'high functioning' on the Autistic Spectrum, along with associated comorbidities.
We offer a wide range of services for children, young people, and families, including:
- Advice and guidance for families and professionals caring for autistic children and young people.
- Bespoke 1-1 mentoring and tutoring tailored to the individual needs of each young person.
- Parent and family support sessions to empower and equip families with life skills and strategies.
- Group activities and an alternative education provision.
Our centre is fully equipped with a sensory room, music and gaming room, tutor and homework room, craft room, and a kitchen to support life and independence skills. We work in a variety of environments, including schools, colleges, homes, the community, and at our centre.
Our aim is to help young people develop to their full potential and to support parents and carers in overcoming barriers. We understand the challenges families face and strive to make support accessible and effective.
