Carers Peer Support Groups are welcoming monthly gatherings run by Kingston Carers' Network (KCN) for carers in the Kingston area. These groups offer a safe, friendly space to connect with others who understand the challenges of caring for a loved one.
What do the groups offer?
- Young Adult Carers' Peer Support: For carers aged 16–21, meeting on the first and third Friday of each month (excluding bank holidays), 6:00pm–8:00pm at Chessington Sports Centre.
- Support Group for Carers of Adults who are Neurodivergent: For parents and carers of adults with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or other neurodivergent conditions. Meets on the last Monday of each month (except bank holidays), 10:00am–12:00pm in Room 41, Ground floor, Guildhall Building, Kingston, KT1 1EU. Refreshments provided. Please book a space each month by email or phone.
- Support Group for Carers of People with a Mental Health Condition: For carers supporting someone with mental ill health. Facilitated by David, Deputy CEO. Meets on the second Tuesday of each month, 6:00pm–7:15pm at Hillcroft in Surbiton. Occasional guest speakers may extend the session.
All groups are free to attend. You can sign up for monthly reminders. No need to book each month, but please let us know before your first visit so we can welcome you.
