Domestic abuse support

Ashiana Network provides specialist support, refuge, advice, and counselling for women and girls who are at risk of or have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, and harmful practices such as forced marriage, honour-based violence, and female genital mutilation.

Our services include:

  • Refuge and Safe Housing: Secure accommodation for women and children escaping violence.
  • Specialist Advice and Advocacy: Expert guidance and practical support to help you navigate your options and rights.
  • Specialist Counselling: Confidential one-to-one counselling (6–15 sessions) tailored to survivors of abuse and harmful practices.
  • Support Groups: Group sessions to connect with others and share experiences in a safe environment.
  • Community Outreach & VAWG Prevention: Education and awareness to prevent violence against women and girls.
  • Professional Training: Training for professionals working with survivors.

We are committed to making a difference in the lives of women and children, offering culturally sensitive support in multiple languages including Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Turkish, and Urdu.
