Hotspot Food is a vibrant and respected community space located at The Beacon Community Centre in the London Borough of Harrow. We are dedicated to bringing people together through nutritious food, social engagement, and a wide range of activities for all ages.
Our fully operational café offers a variety of cuisines, including traditional English café meals and hot Halal options. You can choose to dine in or take away, enjoying our modern facilities designed to foster wellbeing and community spirit.
What we offer:
- Community Cafe: Affordable hot meals for everyone, with relief meals for those in need and free meals for children during school holidays.
- Holiday Playschemes: For the past 6 years, we have run free holiday activities for children, including sports, drama, art, healthy cooking, day trips, and nutritious meals to keep kids active and fed.
- Weekly Boxing Sessions: Teaching discipline and fitness to young people, supported by healthy food.
- Young Females Group: Support for teenage girls around body confidence, anxiety, exam stress, and life skills, with healthy meals provided.
- Hotspot Day Centre: Weekly activities and engagement for the elderly to tackle isolation and loneliness, including social events and meals.
- Community Relief: During the pandemic, we provided over 9,000 free meals to families and the elderly across Harrow and Hounslow.
