Wellbeing Walks in the Peak District

Mind Over Mountains is a mental health charity dedicated to harnessing the healing power of nature through mindfulness and supportive guidance from experienced coaches and counselors. We offer retreats and walks across England and Wales, with a special focus in 2025 on providing four free wellbeing walks in the Peak District National Park. ### Walk Details: - **Nature of Walks**: Our walks are designed to be mindful and accessible to individuals with a moderate level of physical fitness. They are not competitive and focus on enjoyment and mindfulness. - **Eligibility**: These walks are suitable for individuals facing a range of mental health challenges; however, they are not appropriate for those in mental health crisis. If you are unsure about eligibility, please reach out to us at info@mindovermountains.org.uk. - **Schedule**: Each walk will start at 9 AM and conclude around 4 PM, covering approximately 8 to 9 miles at a relaxed pace with several stops to appreciate the surroundings and engage in mindfulness activities. ### Our Wellbeing Walks in 2025: 1. Manifold Valley: 26th April 2. Lathkill Dale: 28th June 3. Hope Valley: 7th September 4. Edale: 15th November ### Safety and Support: All our walk leaders are qualified Mountain or Hill & Moorland Leaders, trained in first aid, and responsible for ensuring health and safety throughout the event. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with fellow walkers and our specialist coaches.
