The Royal Voluntary Service - Patient Transport, is a completely Free of Charge, Door to Door, Transport Service, supporting individuals 55Yrs and above living in the Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland area, in accessing their Oncology Treatment.
All Volunteer drivers are fully trained and DBS checked, and drive their own personal vehicles.
Other Hospital appointments may be considered, however, Oncology patients will take precedence and is dependent on Volunteer availability.
The Service criteria: 55Yrs and above, Client must be able to get in and out of a standard vehicle without support.
