The Upcycling course is available to anyone who is unemployed and living in the Copeland area at no cost.
The Upcycling course is a creative and flexible opportunity for people of all abilities. It aims to introduce you to a range of creative skills and techniques using different tools and materials. You will experiment with a wide range of projects from furniture, textiles, and crafts. Ideas from the learners are encouraged and the course is tailored to the individual.
The course runs 3 days a week from 10am to 2pm over a minimum of 8 weeks, however we are flexible to meet individual needs and abilities; some people may attend for 1 day a week for a longer period of time, or build up the amount they attend.
