About Growers Row

Growers Row is a shared garden established in association with The Rutland Agricultural Society on the outskirts of Oakham.  A 1.5 acre field, shaped with historic ridge and furrow, the site started as a grassy field and is now an accessible, productive, educational and beneficial growing space for the whole community.  The benefits of spending time in nature, caring for the space and connecting with others is widely documented.  Our trained Therapeutic Horticultural staff are on hand to encourage participation in caring for the garden and sharing the food we produce.

Open Wednesday
Between 10am - 3pm we are open most Wednesdays.  If you would like to volunteer for planting, building, weeding and connecting with nature and people, please get in touch to arrange your first visit.  We also offer a free Therapeutic Gardening Course.

Season workshops and events happen throughout the year, please check our social media or website for more infomation.
