
Beam is a service for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing personalised support to help them get back into employment. We can help with:
- Job hunting, applications and interview prep
- Learning how to sell skills to employers, confidence building & more!
- Any funding related to starting a job. This can include a laptop, childcare costs, travel costs and much more!
Who is the service for?
- Beam is a service for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness (includes people living in TA, with no recourse to public funds, sofa surfing, at risk of eviction or rough sleeping)
- Clients must be over the age of 18, and must be able to communicate in English without an interpretor
- Clients must not have any current alcohol or substance misuse issues, and any mental or physical health issues must be managed
How can I refer my clients?
- To make a referral, you must be:
- An officer in Hinckley & Bosworth Council's Housing Options, Welfare or Domestic Abuse teams
- A work coach at the DWP or an NHS professional
