Oubaitori Karate Club is a non-profit karate club in Peterborough. We offer martial arts training for children aged 4 years and older, teens, and adults of all levels of fitness and ability, for improving fitness, self defence, or competing internationally and everything in between.
The classes are fun, engaging, interactive, and as challenging as you want to make them! We're a social and friendly bunch.
There are kids-only classes as well as all-age ones. Classes are in Werrington and Orton; this listing is for our kids only and all-age classes held at the William Law Primary School in Werrington. You can find schedules for these and our other classes on our 'Classes' page. All of the venues have car parks and toilets.
Give us a call or email to let us know you’re coming and to make sure we can meet you on arrival, or just to discuss your needs. Alternatively, just turn up. Clothing: a t-shirt and trackies is fine, don’t wear anything that could hurt you or anybody else. We train barefoot. And bring water!
Every student gets their first 2 lessons free to try it out and see if you want to continue. To join the club and continue attending, there are monthly subscriptions for students which vary by age group, with discounts for multiple people from the same household; find current prices on the Prices page.
Funding and scholarships are available for students through the Karate for Good Partnership – read more on the website and contact us direct for more information.
The club emphasises that everyone is a student and can improve, everyone should be treated with honour and respect, no one is perfect but everyone is unique, and everyone can work on balance and harmony in life. You can find read our mission statement, ethos, values, and history on our website.
