Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire offers a wide range of activities and events designed to support older people in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Our centres provide a friendly, welcoming environment where you can meet new people, learn new skills, and enjoy a variety of group activities led by experienced leaders.
- The Gilbert Richards Centre, Coventry: Enjoy arts and crafts (pottery, sculpture, painting, knitting, sewing), woodworking for all skill levels, digital inclusion courses to improve your tablet/mobile skills, and computer/IT courses. The centre is wheelchair friendly and offers a supportive space for friendship and fun.
- The Claremont Centre, Rugby: Join 'Men In Sheds' every Wednesday for practical projects and socialising. We also offer Dementia Day Opportunities from Monday to Thursday, providing engaging, tailored activities and quiet time for those living with dementia.
Volunteering: We welcome volunteers to help run sessions or assist in the office. If you’re interested, please get in touch!
How to access: Most activities are held in group settings at our centres. Please contact the relevant centre for details about specific sessions, availability, and any costs involved.
