VASA - Community Transport

VASA is dedicated to changing lives by connecting people across Stratford, Warwick, Rugby, and Solihull.

We offer a range of services designed to help people stay independent, supported, and connected within their communities. Our core services include:

  • Community Transport: Book a volunteer driver for medical appointments, visits to family and friends in hospital or care homes, and more. Our friendly drivers help you get where you need to go safely and comfortably.
  • Dementia Day Services: Specially designed sessions to encourage people living with dementia to feel comfortable, engaged, and supported. Activities are tailored to individual needs, promoting wellbeing and social interaction.
  • Community Connections: Groups for carers and companionship, including Carers Connect and Coffee & Connect. These groups offer a welcoming space to meet others, share experiences, and build friendships.
  • Wheelchair Loans: We maintain a fleet of wheelchairs for public use, available for short-term, temporary, or medium-term loan. This service helps people stay mobile and independent.
  • Support for Carers: Practical advice, support groups, and opportunities to connect with others in similar situations.
  • First Aid & Mental Wellbeing Training: Practical training sessions to help you feel confident in supporting yourself and others.

Our services are delivered by a caring team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. Whether you need transport, support, or just someone to talk to, VASA is here to help.
