Penn and Tylers Green Village Care is a local charity dedicated to helping anyone in the Penn and Tylers Green area who needs practical help getting out of the house.
Our friendly team of volunteer drivers and telephonists provide lifts for registered clients to a variety of local destinations, including:
- Hospitals
- GP surgeries
- Supermarkets
- Hairdressers
- Local shops
Who can use the service? Anyone in Penn and Tylers Green, Penn Bottom, Penn Street, or Winchmore Hill who needs a lift—young or old. We aim to support those experiencing sickness, distress, or hardship, and also promote education in our community.
How does it work? Simply contact us to register as a client. Our telephonists will arrange a volunteer driver to take you from your home to your destination and back.
Limitations: Please note that not all drivers are able to handle wheelchairs, so let us know your needs when you register.
