North Woolwich Library Activities for Children and Young People

At North Woolwich Library, we offer the following services:

  • Play Library - Come and play with your new favorite toy, and borrow a new toy to you. Open to Under 5s. Takes place on Mondays 10am-12pm, Tuesdays 10.00-1.30pm and Wednesdays 12.00-1.00pm. No booking is required.
  • Creative Arts and Crafts - Open to 4+. Takes place on Mondays 4.00-5.00pm. No booking is required.
  • Fun Games  - Young people and adults are welcome to join us for video and board games. Takes place on Tuesdays 4.00 - 5.00pm.No booking is required.
  • Study Night - For secondary school pupils. Join us in the Connie Hunt Room to get through your coursework. Takes place on Tuesdays 6-8pm and Thursdays. No booking is required.
  • Sing Along - Rhyme and story time for children under 5. Takes place on Wednesdays 1.30-2.30pm. No booking is required.
  • Lego Club  - Ages 4+. Takes place Wednesdays 4.00-5.00pm, Fridays 4.00-5.00pm and Saturdays 4.00-5.00pm. No booking is required.
  • Board Games - Thursdays 4.00-5.00pm 
  • Coding Club - Open to 8+  Fridays 4.15-5.00pm 
  • Talking Tots - Under 5s. Taking place on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 1.00 - 3.30pm.
