MOVEability’s Seated Chair Exercise Classes offer accessible, low-impact fitness sessions for people of all ages and abilities, with a special focus on seniors and those with limited mobility or health conditions.
Our friendly, community-based classes run at venues across West Berkshire, including Hermitage, Thatcham, Newbury, Lambourn, and Chieveley. Each session is designed to be inclusive and supportive, helping you improve your flexibility, strength, balance, and cardiovascular health in a safe, seated format.
- What’s included: Each class lasts about an hour, featuring a warm-up, mobilising exercises, aerobic and cardio routines, strength training, cool down, stretching, and a relaxing body scan or revitaliser.
- Social connection: After the session, enjoy a complimentary cup of tea and biscuit, and the chance to chat and make new friends.
- Expert-led and adaptable: Our instructors demonstrate exercises from different angles and offer options to suit all abilities, including wheelchair users and those with health conditions like arthritis, stroke recovery, or vision impairment.
- Online option: If you can’t attend in person, join our online classes via Zoom and participate from anywhere.
